Influenster 101 – Free Products? Yes, please!

My Intro to Influenster

So I don’t share with you all anything that I don’t absolutely love and I’m so excited to let you know what I’ve been “working on” (and I say working loosely because it’s been so much fun) for the past couple weeks.

I received my first Influenster Vox Box right before July 4th weekend and have spent the past few weeks trying out all the products and I have to say I am so pleased!

If you haven’t heard about Influenster, it’s a social review network online (with over 3 million users!) who review products, share opinions, and engage with each other all while trying out free products! Yes, you heard read that right – FREE FULL SIZED PRODUCTS!

What was included in my Posh Vox Box?

Get In On The Fun!

The whole process is super easy! I simply signed up, linked my social accounts, and then completed a few “snaps” aka surveys regarding my interests and preferences. I then started reviewing my favorite products. I also jumped around in the Q & A sections of some of my favorite products and engaged with the community.

A few days later, I got an email that I had been selected for the Posh Vox Box campaign. There was a quick survey to answer some questions specific to the campaign (like my eyebrow shade) and then my box was on its way.

Once I got my box, there was a little postcard with a description of all the products in the package and then of course, all the freebies!! I scanned the QR code on the postcard and checked in my Vox Box.

I spent a few weeks taking pictures of the products, trying them out, and taking notes for my reviews. Then once I logged back into my Influenster dashboard, I noticed there was a Posh Vox Box campaign section so I clicked in and started leaving my reviews and uploading my photos.
PS – Don’t forget, if you’re selected for a Vox Box make sure to disclose that you’ve received the product free for testing and review purposes.

Influenster also sweetens the pot by hosting contests with each brand.
For example, to unlock the Sigma Beauty badge and enter the grand prize contest you could:

– review your free Sigma Beauty product on Influenster
– share a picture on Instagram
– Follow Sigma Beauty on their social networks
– or share an Instagram video

All these “tasks” also gain you Influence points which contribute to your overall account and the higher your score, the more likely you are to be chosen for a Vox Box!

The overall campaign runs for approximately a month and then there’s a post campaign final survey.

So now that I’ve given you the Influenster 101, what are you waiting for? Sign up now! I’d love to connect with any other Influensters too so if you’re apart of the community, be sure to leave me a comment below!

I’ll also be adding individual posts for my product reviews so stay tuned! While I did receive all the products mentioned above complementary for review purposes, all opinions are my own. You’re only going to get the real deal from me – I wouldn’t have it any other way 🙂

      1. Yay! Which box did you get? I’m currently on my second box and received the full size Bare Minerals – Bare Pro Performance Wear Foundation.
